I got Verizon's new LTE Home Internet and installed it today. So far, so good. Cost is $40 per month for existing Verizon customers and their router costs $240. Speeds on day 1 have been 25-30 Mbps. Data is unlimited. Setup was easy.

I've been using Ubifi for my internet for about 2 years with download speeds averaging 20-25Mbps. Cost is $89.99/month and $315 for the MoFi router (new customers are now being charged $99.99). I'll be cancelling the Ubifi service.

I believe Verizon is only offering the service to those who can't get their FiOS and have a good 4G signal.

I have the AT&T version of this and it works well also. If you live rural this is a good option. Or you could wait for StarLink

I would love to have this, but
although I have good Verizon and AT&T 4G LTE cellphone coverage,
when I enter my address for the home internet availability,
it says no coverage for my address.

I wonder if these carriers might possibly reserve bandwidth on these towers for fixed services vs actual mobile services? Just guessing here. Obviously the towers, for the most part, are fiber fed so maybe they need to expand the bandwidth capability before they rollout the fixed services everywhere. Once again, just speculation.

Just found out (with AT&T at least) that the 'wireless' means
from their modem to your devices, but the actual service comes
over a telephone wire.
I currently have CenturyLink DSL, but AT&T said they cannot
use CenturyLink's line.

Just called the # on the link you provided and now the rep. that I
talked to said that the signal does indeed come from the tower,
but the tower(s) that my cellphone uses have not been upgraded
yet to the radio frequency that the wireless internet service uses.

(Don't know what the previous rep. was talking about)

It's a crowded urban market and rural is an open opportunity currently. Capacity is being upgraded to match demand. Soon to be 5g.

After 5g hits watch the Dish and Direct TV satellite dishes come tumbling down.
