Ventrac Bogs/Stalls with Forward/Reverse

To close this off - dropped a valve from a moved guide. P.O. must have overheated the engine. Replaced the head and bent push rod, and we are at full power!

Hi. Newbie here..
Picked up a 4100 with snow plow, bucket and steiner finish mower.
Ran great when I bought it (flat ground) got it home and noticed a decent pil leak on the trailer. Ran good until I tried to go up a decent hill and slowed to a crawl..more than walking speed and it tries to stall. Ordered some maintenance stuff and will check valve lash in the next days..

Does anybody have a cross reference for hydro filters and the Kawasaki filter (13.0001)???

I agree with hodge that you should start a new thread for this issue. If you do, please tell us the position of the High-Low transaxle shift lever when it went up the hill.
