I am deciding between the Valtra f series and the McCormick TeleTrac

Also somewhat off thread but I looked at a Valtra and could not find any Valtra dealer within 100 miles that actually had a Valtra. They said they were too expensive and did not stock any.

There are quite a few Valtra's over the hill from here. We have a great dealer that sold a lot of Valtra's until he took on the Agco line. Now he doesn't carry quite as many Valtras anymore but I don't see very many Orange tractors either. They are still a great dealer but maybe our market isn't doing as well locally to sell very many new tractors.

I don't think they are too expensive if you compare equal machines across brands. The problem is people compare these tractors to the economy lines from Deere and CNH which isn't really fair. If you compare them to the equal models from Deere and CNH you will find them right in line and maybe even cheaper depending on just what options.

Where abouts NEPA are you? Rogers and Sons is the dealer I am referring to and they are located in Cherry Creek, NY which isn't too far from the PA border
