Warmed up a little, so I got out and cleared some trails. We got the Gator 2 months ago with 2400 hrs
and it has impressed me. First time in the snow for the L12. Both machines did great.

With the ground finally frozen up, I've finally been able to get out to work on the crop tree release project on the far corner of my property. 2023 was such a wet year that I've been reluctant to go out there with with the tractor or UTV. Since it's about a mile of trails, carrying all the gear by hand is not a great option.
Over the last week or so, I've cleared most of the blow-down from the two big wind storms. Now I'm back to some tree felling. I brought the small trailer out with me to gather up some of the blow-downs for firewood on the way back home. These first few trips have been with the UTV, packing down the snow so the trail will freeze in more solidly during the cold snap. The next trips will likely be with the tractor and logging trailer.
Mostly Black Birch with this load: good BTUs, and sure smells nice when you are cutting it.
