I have a mule Pro FXT that I bought in the fall of ‘14. Coming up on 10 years. I use it heavily for firewood as you do. Plow a 1/4 mile drive with a 12% grade hill. Have a buyers receiver mount spreader for the back that I’ll load full of limestone 8’s for traction. Have taken it out west multiple times and hauled 6 adults around elk hunting. It’s unstoppable. I would like to get a new one, now that there is the 80 hp twin cylinder, but am a little reluctant. What I have has been flawless
Do post photos of it at work.

Our Mule is also flawless - that 3-cyl Chery motor is not fast but has excellent torque and is super easy to maintain. We still have the original battery in it from when we bought it in 10/2014. They are a great hunting/work machine for sure.

I love my mule as well, but changing the battery can be a challenge.

From today, I had to get the log splitter In there too. It is a beast!

Just for an experiment the other day, I tried to build the most expensive Deere utv I could. The online retail price came in at just about $65,000. I couldn't believe it.

Well ya cab, heating, ac, power box lift all costs lots. The pods (track kits) for our 6x6 atv were 6700. Did I miss things you added?

Not 100% related, but since there is always a thread on UTVs... What tires do you like that hold up well on hard surfaces, but also give pretty good sand/dirt/trail traction? I think our Honda Pioneer only has like 8000 miles, and the 2nd set of tires are probably at 50%. Of that limited milage, probably 30-50% was been on asphalt; another 25% has been on sand-clay roads, and the rest, dirt/sand/mud.

I never take my ATV on asphalt... It's 100% off road, and has the original 2014 tires! Very few miles too, (under 2000) because, well, it's only used off road for mowing, towing a trailer, cultipacking fields and fertilizing. I've never had to replace tires for wear, ever. For damage, once or twice. How long does it tak to accrue 8000 miles?
