Got a call from an elderly neighbor couple this afternoon. They have a small orchard (apple) and this year the trees are absolutely overloaded with fruit. They'd been propping up the branches to support the weight of the apples but one of them - a big branch - broke anyway and they asked me to remove the broken limb. I went to a pellet stove 4 years ago so my chainsaws have been idle since but I fired one up and went over with the Can-am and did the job. Got a bed-load of firewood out of the deal in case I ever decide to put a wood stove in the garage!

A neighbor was giving away some chunky fill and I swooped over to grab it with the Ranger. Filled the bed full and I probably could have gone a bit deeper. Notice the new chainsaw holder I just made. Probably going to paint the wood black.

How did you attach that to the bed?
I forgot to respond to this, sorry. I used those inserts that go into the holes on the bed. So the aluminum angle has holes drilled in it that allows the bolts from those bed inserts to go through. Seems quite secure. I will be putting the saw in the sheat so that the majority of the weight is pushing down anyways.
