Utv stalling

I have a bulldog utv with a Suburu (Robin) eh65 engine. When going over fairly rough cattle guards the engine stalls. Had to sit for 5 minutes or so before it would restart. Also had the problem on a steep incline. Any ideas what's causing this problem?

If it's carbureted, the float level is too low and it's being starved for fuel (provided it's a gas motor).

It is carbureted. Can the float level be adjusted?

Take off the bowl and have a look. Usually you can bend the float tab to adjust the fuel level. Fuel level needs to be at the split between the carb body and the top of the float bowl.
