Took this video today of putting in trellis posts with post driver and Kioti.

We set about 75 or so today for a total of about 125 to date. Posts are 3-4 inches X 8 ft. blunt ends. I am driving them down 3 feet so 5 feet is above ground.

Wow...interesting! It seems slow, but if you have to drill a hole then tamp in a post....well you get the idea.

DK45SE Kioti.

I am not exactly sure what brand of post driver it is. I bought it used. Cost me $800 used. When I get done putting in all my trellis's you can get it at a good price...

Thought that looked about right for either a 40 or 45. I may have to invest in one. Thanks for the info.

And here I fully expected to see them being set with your FEL. :)

Nice rig, I'd pay $800

How would this work on pressure treated 4x4s? How does it do in rocky ground? I live in the Northeast and it's pretty rocky up here. Thanks.

Its supposed to do square posts fine. I haven't tried then yet but will before fall arrives I am pretty sure. As for rocky ground, when the posts hit a rock unless it can move it or break it it stops. I have seen some stuff I was banging in and it only went down 1/4 -1/2 and inch for a couple of inches then started going down again. I would suspect it was the hard pan layer.
