Loader using fel

The manufacturer is covering their "arse" by stating that they can't control the loads you place on the cylinders with the tractor. The previous poster is absolutely correct in that the "column strength" of the cylinders is greatly reduced as they near full extension. If you retract the cylinders just a few inches their column strength increases dramatically. The column strength vs. stroke curve is like an upside-down back-flip jump! From what I gather, you're probably fine doing what you've been doing.
One of the significant things that helped me choose Kioti was the cylinder dimensions as compared to the other "equal" brands. Look at the Branson or Mahindra FELs.

It is not as much that column strength decreases with extension [it does], but that the leverage of the bucket on that column increases astronomically with the bucket way outcurled. Take a look at how the pivots line up.

I have done just about everything you shouldn't do with my FEL and haven't damaged the cylinders. I did have the cracks that everyone gets with the early loaders and have added the brace. I have back dragged with the bucket fully curled and the front wheels off the ground, dug rocks with the corner of the bucket that lifted the rear end. I use it to dig up sod all the time and have never bent anything. All I can say is they sure built my CK20 tough cause I can't break it.
A farmer friend tells me what I shouldn't do but he doesn't own a Kioti.

No way my loader will pick up the back of my CK25. Hits the relief every time well before the rear gets light (I do have loaded tires), even with no implement on the back. Another reason these two can't be compared when it comes to loader use. The bigger CK will push it to the limit more easily due to its extra weight. For this reason, I wouldn't over stress my loader by backdragging with it fully curled. Nor would I pry with one corner of the bucket. Just isn't necessary, and too expensive to take the chance, for me.

I won't push it too hard either. I'd be hooped if I broke the fel and the way my luck goes I'll be the one to have the one in a hundred break.
