Get a 3/4" air impact wrench and hammer away on the big bolts. Should be able to get one at Sears. Only time I use a torque wrench is when rebuilding engine and safety items. Been a mech. for over 20yrs.
Yeah, there is a right way of doing things and there are the ways it's really done. If you don't want to do it that way, like someone else said you can rent a 600lb torque wrench and 4x torque multiplier. Maybe your local dealer will help you out?
