Used My MoJackEZ For The First Time

We talked about Sears and prices of the MoJack in this thread and now I have the MoJackEZ and used it for the first time today, so thought I'd post a few pictures. Basically, I think it's great, probably a bit expensive for something that will only be used a few times each year, but it's solid and easy to use. I removed the blade, sharpened and balanced it, put it back on, and thoroughly washed the bottom side of the deck. Then I let the mower down, and of course did not use the MoJack while I changed the oil & filter.

The lifting mechanism is just like a screw jack. In the first picture, the light colored vertical piece is the screw. The crank can be mounted in one of two positions, depending on how much leverage you want; i.e., how long that crank and handle are from the top of the screw. Or you can leave it off entirely and use a drill motor to run it up and down. I mounted the crank for the short distance (least amount of leverage) and it was quite easy to crank up and down.

I use a cherry picker (engine hoist) and a chain to lift the front of my zero turn, works well and does more than just lift a mower.

Yep, if I had something like that, or still had a tractor with a front end loader, I wouldn't have bought the MoJack.
