Used CASE DX24E....experiences?

I'm looking at purchasing a used CASE DX24E for some snow blowing and work around the property.

What are people's experiences with them? Is there anything I should be aware of on a tractor with 250 hours on it?

Are there any serious deficiencies in this model?

I have the slightly more powerful DX25E and really enjoy it, but I don't have much need for a snow blower in SW MO. I have used the box blade and brush hog a bit with the 3 pt and it does a pretty good job for its size. While it isn't really quick mowing with a 48" brush hog, it has done a pretty amazing job at thinning out some pretty hefty brush on the hill.

The biggest deficiency I have with the DX25E is the fact that it is a subcompact and at times I wish I had a little more tractor. Not that I really need anything larger (25 out of 35 hours are mowing, which it is awesome at), but prior to this the smallest tractor I ran was the 4020 dad had when I was growing up. However, to move up to the next size doubled the price, so factoring that in I would definitely buy the DX25E again.

I had a DX 24E for 2 years / 150 hours with only few minor problems . Are you talking front or rear mount blower ? I had a front mount on it and it worked great ! Traded it for a DX 26 because I wanted the loader and the larger frame size had the loader capacity I was looking for . Also have a front mount blower for this one and its great ! I had the option for the same money to put on soft cab and front mount blower or rear blower and hard cab with glass . Chose the front blower as its very convenient and I take cab off in summer so it gets very little use . Kevin
