I try and check out any semi local auctions through Equipmentfacts.com, via there online interface. Since I have worked with them before I already have a bidder number so bidding is just a matter of registering for the auction (which requires a 5k credit card deposit, a bank letter, or 10k into their escrow)
Anyway it looks like today I lucked out, or so I hope! I bid on, and won an auction for a 73" (Which looks to be the HD model if I am correct?) JD QA bucket. There seems to be some damage to the bucket but I am hoping it will be a fairly easy fix. Here are the photos:
It looks as if the edges have rusted out... I have some friends who weld, and I am hoping I can have it patched up for fairly cheap. I do not plan to use this bucket for anything but snow at this point so I hope it will work out.
I won it for 100$ + 12% fee and PA sales tax. So it should be less then 120 OTD. I also won a like new Howse HB60 Box Blade for 300$ + the same fee's. (As seen
here on Ebay) They are located about 3 hours from me, but there is a like new (1 year old) Agri-Fab Mow-N-Vac for 500$ (on Craigslist, retail is 1200) that I have been wanting to pick up for the past month, and it's only 10 min from this place. So really, it all should work out!
Let me know what you guys think
