LS has added the XR Series Compact Tractors to their site. XR is the R series with Cab.

Thanks for that. I just checked their website yesterday or the day before and it wasn't on there, so this must have just happened in the last 24 hours.

It's about time. Looks like they've got some work to do, though. For example, on the XR4046HC, which is an HST transmission, it says "Hand and foot throttle control". Hmmmm. And hopefully they will add some pics as they go along.

But this is a start. Rome wasn't built in a day, I guess.

We have been emailing with Mr. Huey Kim at LS USA about the LS XR4046 vs. their XU5030. Trying to decide between them. Cab on R 4047 (now XR4046) making this a harder decision.

LS really working to keep website current and Mr. Kim will be a big part of LS success in USA.

Just my 2 cents worth.

That's an improvement. They got the specs right on the L4102 loader, but didn't correct the error on the L4101 page (the two have the same listed lift specs of 2,638lbs). They'll get there, but it really shouldn't take them this long.

That's the guy that emailed me back when I wrote LS complaining about not updated their website with new model info. He's their national sales manager, I think, and he wrote back quickly.

The decision between the XR4046 and 5030 would be easy for me because I want an HST transmission and the 5020 and 5030 only have a shuttle. If the 5020 and 5030 were available with an HST, then it would be a no-brainer to buy one of those. (Or, if Kubota offered a cab on their MX5100 HST, that would be a no brainer also.) That's a pity.

I wonder when/if we will start seeing some of the larger framed utility tractors like the 5020 and 5030 available with HST.

Good luck on your decision. They both look like great tractors to me. What dealer are you working with?
