Have purchased a bobcat walk behind loader on tracks with a bad engine to begin the process of building my "track driven" deere

How much power do you need?

My put together loader has a 22 hp 3 cylinder, non turbo Mitsibishi diesel, plenty for wheels.


Perkins makes some starting at about 15 hp. Search eBay.

This is not a Deere.

It is a Bobcat.

He got it for the tracks.

Post #9 shows the loader for the project

I don't think he has said what doner Deere he is going to use.
I just thought he would chop up the Bobcat till he got the project he was happy with.
