update on loader cracks

Heres a thought to ponder,if a plumber fitted a shower and it leaked a little,would you expect the plumber come around and put the job right asap,or would you let him have several months to think about a fix for the leak??

Forgive me for thinking aloud but aren't we waiting for a 'front end loader' repair? I mean its not a repair to the Hubble telescope!!

Roller, if you read back in earlier threads regarding the loader repair, I posted at the end of September that Kioti customer service indicated they would be announcing their repair program in about two months. They indicated the engineering was settled and that parts were in production. Assuming that is going as planned, that means the dealers should hear from Kioti about the end of November or so. I presume that means repairs to cracked loaders will be possible shortly thereafter. I agree Kioti was slow to acknowledge the problem but now that they have, the timeline for the repair program seems appropriate given the various engineering, manufacturing and distribution issues they need to deal with. Let's see what happens in the next month.

Nah, you guys are always welcome...especially when you are on good behavior . Besides, boats are ever so much more fun to talk about than loader cracks.

Recall Toad in Wind and the Willows: "There is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

I suppose you could substitute tractors in there too.

I got a load of new CK25's in yesterday and they have a redesigned bucket as well as a new brace structure on the cross-tube that has been showing cracks.

Perhaps through the pics we wil be able to detect whether the upgraded versions are just the old version except with a brace added which may be the "kit".

Frankly with this news I for one am seriously POed! It is incredibly short sighted and narrow minded to put all efforts into selling new loaders and not so much as an official notification to registered owners of when we will see our DEFECTIVE loaders repaired! Thanks Kioti, we are starting to see how much we mean to you after the sale!

Typically when a manufacturer finds a problem such as the Kioti Loader Problem as you guys call it they will put it into two classifications. Existing and New. The existing ones are out there, can't do much about them. The most important is New and that is where they will work first. They want to stop any more loaders going out there as fast as they can. The fix for the new will also help them in determining the fix for the existing ones. Now for your loader the fix may be totally different. I would just hang in there, they should have a fix soon.

I have just purchased a new kL120 loader and it looks different than the pictures I have seen of the loader. The cross member is tubular so you can see the hollow tube. I did not see this in the pictures.

That looks like that because one tire is low on air.
