UPDATE:(Midwest nice but...)

Since I am the person that started the previous post I thought I should give an update.

First off let me APOLOGIZE to Midwest and to Jim directly for any negativity that is in that first post. I was (as many of you pointed out) being "hasty". I emailed Jim again and he has since helped me out as much as possible.

The dealer network is slowly but steadly spreading, I just happen to be a little north of the current availablity.

For those of you still frustated, I would say work with Jim, he truly does try to help. You may not find the availability as close as you like, but give him a try.

I had Jim look at MN and Iowa (my folks live there still). He found a new dealer 1.5 hours away from my folks and they can deliver or I can pick it up next time I'm down visiting. Price wise I still come out less than what I can buy up here for a lighter unit (Southern or Befco).

I kind of did the same thing. I stumbled across a dealer in east central Indiana who is 1.5 hours from my folk's place in Ohio. He ordered the Midwest BB I was looking for and said he'll call me when it comes in. He said he can't keep the Midwest equipment in stock, stuff sells quickly and people very happy with the quality.

Now if there was only a dealer in West MI!

Glad things are looking up. As I mentioned in an earlier post, he is going to be real busy, especially at this time of year. He is having to build a new dealer network since his deal with First Choice is gone. Rumor has it there is going to be a new dealer in Ohio soon. Mostly blades for now, from what I hear.
