Red Skies at night, sailor's delight. Red skies at morning, sailors take warning.

I wonder if that sunset has "meaning". I get fiery red SUNRISES around here. "They" say it could mean stormy weather coming our way.

I never understood that saying. Weather generally moves west to east so the clouds that form the red sky are already pat you. This may not apply to those with noreasters

Very pretty. Look like lenticular clouds that are getting swept downwind by the higher winds aloft.
