The "leveling box" broke on my Case 380 aka David Brown 885. I am having a difficult time find a replacement. Anyone have any ideas? I am wondering if there is such a thing as a universal or generic alternative. Seems like so long as the top and bottom holes matched anything would work. I'd love to be able to just replace the broken shaft but the only ones I can find are for Masseys and Fords.

I appreciate that but I tried all that before I asked here. I guess I should have pointed that out in my original post. If it were as easy as googling or searching ebay I would have just ordered one. None of those searches yield parts advertised as compatible with my tractor. Thanks though.

The part you need is the K913224. It was used on the Case 380CK, 1194, and David Brown 770A, 770B, 780, 885, 885N.
Below are listing for some dismantled machines.
There is no "universal" side link. You might be in a position to put a hydraulic side link on the unit, eliminating the old manual side link.
