MF135
Just acquired 21 acres of farmland in Surrey, UK - mainly to prevent it being exploited for unwise development. Therefore needed a tractor, and decided to get one that I'd be familiar with, having spent most of my childhood on the family farm County Durham. After only a few weeks a nice MF135 came up nearby and has been put to work. I have tied up with a local farmer I know well and he has agreed to farm 15 acres 'traditionally' - hay/silage and grazing, no herbicide or pesticide etc., while loaning me enough equipment to seed some of the rest with a 'Bumblebird' mix (AB-16), and clean out an old pond and spruce plantation to create my own nature reserve.

Turns out I don't remember as much about the 135 as I thought, and hence I need fora like this to help out occasionally!

Welcome Mick. Glad to hear of development being blocked slightly at least.

To the TBN forum Mick. You came to the right place as a lot of people here are very Knowledgeable.

Do you live close to your 21 acres? Is it located on the south side closer to Kingfield or Old Woking?

Hi Mick,
Mostly (very nice) US folk on here - but you will find the odd Brit too.
Had an MF135, MF165, and an MF550 before - so might be able to help.
Not always on this forum - just when it's a rainy day.. (that happens a lot in the soggy NW of England:thumb down:)
We farm well over 350 acres up here - varied terrain.
Good luck with your patch..

Photos of tractor (with my new flail mower) attached below. Having a bit of fun working out the PTO, and why it will/won't engage in live drive on occasions.
Land is next to the house and on the Surrey/Sussex border.

Exceptionally nice looking MF 135. Is it restored or just really well taken care of? I notice the hours at 4300?

Did you add the ROPS to that? it looks well made and appropriate for the tractor.
