I'll just throw this into the mix because it touches on aliens/UFOs and it's exactly the kind of stuff I find intriguing.

Has anyone watched the History Channel production of Devil's Graveyard about the Vile Vortices?

Vorticies, lots of google hits. Note the authors and the documentation list.

There are a few ocean gyres formed by the existing ocean current flows. Find lots of plastic in them.

That doesn't mean I don't think there is life, intelligent or not, elsewhere in this galaxy or universe. I just don't seen sufficient proof that they are or have been here. Although my old logistics commander, USAF Col I. Halt, has had some rather convincing close encounters that he can't explain.

That's the type of stories I'm talking about... Reputable people that see something and just can't explain it. There's big differences between a shooting star, search light cloud spots, etc and what these people are seeing!

Hmmmmmm...... Then you really don't know if a UFO has been near you or not because you never look around?? Beyond the belief in aliens, aren't you curious about the night sky and what's up there???

The inference is when you say UFO, you really mean an extraterrestrial in a space ship and if you were more observant you too would see a light, oh, yeah, space ship too. I've always wondered how someone jumps from a observation of something unknown to them and jumps to the Martians are here stuff as the logical explanation. The most far fetched explanation is not the answer. HS
