Since no one is answering I will try. Does your front mounted pump have a reservoir for the fluid or is the fluid contained within the cylinders? Drain the fluid out as you stated. Locate the return hose(s) to your reservoir or cylinders. If there is a reservoir, unhook the return line from the reservoir, cap the reservoir fitting off with a plastic cap and place the return line into a bucket. Poor fluid in the reservoir
while someone else works the FEL until clean fluid runs out your hose into the bucket. If there is no reservoir, you would unhook the return hose from the cylinder(s) and do the same process.
