ty290 rod bolts

I am replacing cylinder sleeves in a ty290 which required the removal of the the connecting rods. When I removed the rod bolts I noticed that the lock nuts tore off the thread on the rod bolt in the process. Has anyone found a domestic replacement rod bolt for this engine?
