I know this is an older post but, the same thing happened to me,

Now this is a steel pipe and it's solid on each end, if their is a vibration between the radiator and the transmition, something has got to give, so yes mine did crack also,
What I ended up doing was remove the pipe, blaze the fitting back on, the I cut the pipe in two, took 6 inch off the length of the pipi, braze 2 fitting on each end of the cut, then had a small 6 inch hydraulic line made and installed this in between my two halves, and re install, now their a rubber Hydraulic hose in the middle of this steel pipe, this hydraulic hose absorbs the vibration,

I hope I made this clear? If not ask me some questions.

Thnx

I ended up having it brazed. It's working well. The new part comes with a bracket to support the tube halfway between the two points. I haven't added a bracket yet; but plan to do so when it warms up a bit.

Hi,
I know this is an old post, just wondering how everyone made out with this problem?

I now have the same issue. I have a 2011 CK20S and the same line cracked for me. The pinhole crack is not right at the transmission, but about 6 inches down the line, headed toward the oil cooler. Its in a bend in the line. What are my options?

Should I try to track down the part and replace it? or take the line off and have it welded? Or is there some kind of patch I can use?

Bear in mind that my skills are limited to basically removing bolts, I have NO welding knowledge. The nearest dealer is a 3 hr drive away.

Here is the link to the part I found: Parts Finder Michigan Iron & Equipment Morrice, MI (855) 265-459

its part number 15.

Thank you

The new line is pricy, I haven't had it occur but If I did I would remove and acetylene weld. If you are unable take it to a shop somewhere. 20 minute or less job for a welder.

I'm having the same issue. I planned to take it off the line and have it brazed, but before I did, I figured I should ask someone that did it before, so I know what to expect....can I expect oil to come shooting out when I take it off? Should I worry about damaging o-rings? When I put my socket on it, it was very hard to turn, so I stopped trying. I'm going to post 2 pics, one of where it is attached to the transmission, and one where it connects to the line that comes from the oil cooler.

Is there anything I should be afraid of here? I lined up a local welder to bring the line to, he claims it should be a straight forward fix.

Any guidance would be appreciated here!

My fix has been very successful. I don’t recall how hard it was to remove. If I recall correctly I plugged the holes so I had very minor oil loss. There isn’t pressure in the line when the tractor is off and minimal when it is running.
