I purchased some used wheel/tires for my garden tractor to put on in the winter. There is some cracking on the sidewalls causing some air loss. Would you guys try to slime this, or install tubes. I'm concerned that if I put in slime, I could not put in tubes at a latter date. I'm also concerned about causing more tire damage trying to unseat the tires to install the tubes. On the other hand, tubes would allow me to ballast the rear tires, I do not think you can ballast the tires with fluid and slime at the same time, or can you?

give me your opinion.
