tub sprayer noise?

We bought my wife a fancy slipper bathtub a few months ago. The hand sprayer has started making a noise - - like, ra-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat, etc.

Any ideas how to cure that? I have a similar hose on my walk-in shower that works fine.

Well, don't know. There is always some warm water - - my bride of 43 years just won't take cold baths. I'll try it on cold only. My guess is, it still does it.

Sounds like you are getting air in the lines. Check your plumbing connections, do you have a point of use water heater?
