TU1700f PTO RPM's

TU1700f PTO RPM\'s

I just bought a 48 inch Bush Hog and states it requires 540 RPM input off the PTO. Does anyone know what the RPM's are for the PTO on a TU1700f is. There are three speeds and it probably says what they are but I don't read, write, or speak, chinese.

Put it in the #1 speed . The slowest.

On the Japanese tractors you will always want to use the 1st gear for the PTO. Almost all((I hesitate to say all, but I have never seen one)) US implements for utility tractors are made for 540 RPM. I would also run it at about 2000 rpm. The 2nd and 3rd gears are used mostly for roto-tillers and other Japaneese implements that turn much faster. They are extremely popular over there for the rice farming. You don't see many around but the Yanmar tillers are great and can use the higher turning speeds.
