I have split the tractor and might have found someone to rebuild the clutch. Right now I'm having a problem matching the bearing in the flywheel. The only one I can find has a 5/8 bore and it's about .003 to small for the shaft. OD fits the flywheel.

What I'd like to do is remove the splined shaft and just turn it down in a lathe. Anyone know how to remove it? It looks like it can be removed by unbolting the shaft on the trans end.

Anything to look out for before I get the wrench?
