Trouble reinstalling mower deck=Huskee 42"

I always seem to struggle with putting the mower deck back on my Huskee 42" mower. It's about 10 years old. It uses pins on springs that you have to align in channels on the mower deck.

Any advice is appreciated.

Short of having someone else do it for you .... I would lift the front end of the mower to about waist height. This makes it so you can see and reach under the tractor without having to lift the full weight of the mower deck .... we lift ours with an overhead hoist.

yup -- just use a 2 by 4 block scrap and put under the rear wheels of mower deck. Leave front touching ground. using mower hieght, lower all the way and wiggle the deck same time to line up into the channels. Once its lined up you can slide the spring pins. then do front hook up. easy.
