Ok guys, another bizarro What was the Apache Revolver?

This was a combination weapon consisting of brass knuckles, knife and revolver made by some Frenchie named Apache.

During WW2 the German's had several Submarines of the east coast. A real long trip in those subs.

They built a special supply ship for them.

What was it & what was it named???:confused3:

the Germans called them "milk cows". I think they were a type 9.. The normal Atlantic medium range sub was a type 7.

None of those Atlantic subs the Germans had were as sophisticated or had as many creature comforts as our Gato and Baleo class Long range Subs. They had better torpedoes though, especially at first.. The US cheaped out and did not test our torpedoes very well in the 1930's and for the first few years of the war in the Pacific, we had a lot of torpedo failures.

During WW2 there was a coverage gap in the Atlantic ocean that allowed the German subs to operate freely.

In 1942 or 43 There was a plane that had enough range & payload to fly & linger in the gap.

It also had a secret invention in use. What was what was the plane & the new invention it??? (Maybe improved technologically would be a better word. )

In 1906 the Germans manufactured a limited number of specially built Lugers. The exact number is at least 2; maybe as many as four. Serial number 2 is known as "The million dollar Luger". Why is it so special?

It was made in .45ACP caliber for the Pistol trials here in the US. The Luger lost.
