Triple R

Sorry for the confusion, I thought I had mentioned in one of my threads, I would not be posting for a while. A break is often a good idea for many of us and I have had to do it before.

As Paul mentioned, life can get hectic as well, won't bore you with the details.

While I am not sure I deserve all the kind words, I do appreciate them.

Thanks for the update, TripleR! Glad to know that you are OK. Yes, you definitely deserve the kind words!

/ Triple R #43
I hope this isn't you just trying to add to your post count :)

All kidding aside, glad to hear from you! Most of us appreciate your posting.

Little known fact Mike, but I actually delete some of my posts after the OP reads it or when just joking around so my post count while high under represents how much I have actually posted which is admittedly a bit embarrassing. I use to welcome all new members, but that became a point of contention for some, so I have cut back. I once asked the administrators to delete all of my old posts, but no one did.

In the past I have said I have no use for:

1. Turbo
2. Top and Tilt
3. Third Function
4. Multiple rear remotes
5. Heavy duty box scraper
6. HST+

Yeah, I now have all that except the third function and wish the heck I did, so much for the "wisdom" of TripleR.

TripleR.. trust me.. you WANT a grapple..so just go ahead with the third function. or get one of those rear remotes plumbed out there on the torque tube, and get ready for that grapple you KNOW you want:D And as Darth would say "the circle will be complete" You will have everything you said you did not want:laughing:

He's right tripple. That's what I'm doing today. Designing a system to go on my OEM 5740's bucket. It will make the bucket more useful to me. Man I'll be able to move all the snowballs up here so much easier  Glad your back buddy

Never realized how much I needed a grapple until I got one about a year ago. WR Long true 3rd function really makes grapple work easy.

James, my wife said I can't talk to you anymore as you are a bad influence. My oldest son trimmed limbs with a pole saw around his house and the five acre pond where he lives and still has some more to do. I drove up up there to show her his progress and the resulting limbs lying on the ground. "Just think how easy it would be to pick all that up with a, oh I don't know GRAPPLE.

Thanks Paul, keep us posted on your build with lots of pictures, in the interim, I will be looking for a UPS box big enough to hold my loader and bucket.:licking:

Who cares what others think... welcome away! I can't honestly believe that anyone would care enough about their post count to make unnecessary posts just to boost it- (I post on the "word association game" thread, which may be construed as such by some, but i do it for fun amd don't care what others say). And obviously (judging by this thread) you have retained respect from many.

Oh well so much for the nice eulogy I was working on....;)

Might want to keep it handy Bob, just in case...you never know at our age and you just might forget some of the good stuff.:)

You are deserving of ALL of the good comments.

Here is how I see this. Education, plain and simple. When a person doesn't know about something and has done fine without that something, first thought is "I don't need that". But as one's eyes are opened a bit further and realizes the benefit to these "things" and takes the steps to try these "things" the benefits become evident and you then become a proponent for these "things".

So, I will make a suggestion to get that 3rd function and complete that list. Just because I happen to sell these for $535 is not the reason for this post. :eek:ath: ;)

Glad you still have TBN bookmarked TripleR

Sorry I had folks worried for a while  but then it turned into one nice ''TripleR appreciation thread'' , so I guess I am only half-sorry

I do appreciate the concern, it seems we have lost several posters I really found helpful to me and many others over the years. I often wonder what happened.

Glad to see you are back TripleR love to read your responses and insightful comments. You have helped me in some of my decisions in purchasing options for our tractor and implements. Personally how many posts you have only mean to me that you have a lot of wisdom to offer people like me who are not as experienced and am grateful that you are willing to share your knowledge. Thanks for taking your time to help others out

I appreciate it, much of what I know, I learned from more knowledgeable TBN members willing to share and help others and keeping an open mind; I hope to learn much more.

I knew you wouldn't abandon me my distance buddy.:D

Nope, we both may take breaks or become otherwise occupied, but will always wander back in.
