I'm looking to do some trenching work.

Any opinions on a pto driven trencher vs. a skid steer attached trencher?

I have a CAT 246C and a John Deere 4720 tractor to work with.

A CAT T6 trencher attachment is going to run me $4600. Haven't found a pto trencher yet.

I don't know how much trenching you have to do or how deep, but the attachment is a picture of a setup someone came up with a while back. From the picture it appeared to work well for small jobs.

I like that idea i was thinking of something like that myself.
I guess the black tube get put in at the sametime the trench is being done?
