Treadle Cable Problems!!!

Have 2003 1430,Treadle cable keeps ripping out of threads of hyrdovac and ball joint ends that attach to transmission arm.IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEM?

Have 2003 1430,Treadle cable keeps ripping out of threads of hyrdovac and ball joint ends that attach to transmission arm.IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEM?

I had to take mine apart and clean it, and relubed. There is a nut on the linkage side that should be tight against the Hydraback. If it is loose, the threads on the cable, and the threads on the Hydraback may become worn or destroyed. If one or the other is worn, you will have to replace the Hydraback or the cable or both. I think the cable is about $125. Don't know the price on the Hydraback. Call terry about how to adjust it if it is just loose. He sent me a couple of nuts that tighten the cable end to the Hydraback. I posted some pictures of the Hydraback on this forum, a couple of months ago. Search for all post by me. The spelling is Hydraback, or Hydroback.
