I just bought a 2000 New Holland TN65 Tractor. The person I bought It from loaded it on the trailer. The problem I am having is I can't get it to go into gear. It's a 8x8 shuttle transmission. Can someone help me with this?

What part of the trans won't go into gear? There is the range selector (which needs to be "in gear", either A or B) , then there is the speed (gear) selector (usually 1-2-3-4) , then there is the shuttle shift lever (either F-N-R). If any of theses are not "in gear", the tractor won't move.

I suggest if you haven't already performed this task for you to acquire/read your tractors operators manual. There's normally a wealth of important information in operators manual including correct operation.

Are the shift levers all moving freely or is one "stuck"? Does it feel like it is shifting okay but simply does not move when you let out the clutch?
