Oil & Fuel transmission dip stick problem

Greetings! I am having an issue with my 3215 HST transmission dip stick. My kid got on the tractor one day this summer and stepped on the dip stick. The result was not just a bent handle, but a chewed dipstick. I ordered a new on recently and stuck it in only to find out shortly the same result happened with the new one. Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas as to what is going on?
I have a similar issue with this HST dipstick. Now my concern is what damage will the metal debris cause to the hydraulics? I have also seen this problem mentioned on other tractor posts. It is also odd that a replacement is difficult to locate online.

This happened on my 3616 as well. My solution was to cut off the old one and use it for the installed working plug. The new one hangs on a nail in the tractor shed and is only used for checking level.

I had the same ideas as you can see there is a lot of metal missing from the original. The new one does have a bend that the original didn’t!
