Transaxle Problem

Unit just stopped moving in reverse and shorthly thereafter would not move in either direction. Tractor will roll regardless of the position of the bypass valve.

Fluid level? How many hours on machine? Have you checked the drive belt? Is it loose?

sometimes, theres a free-wheeling rod sticking out the back. it may have vibrated loose. push it in. anything less than a GT doesn't have a user-serviceable trans-axle.

Not completely true. The new X310 and the X360 both have serviceable TT K58 trannys.
