so what is a good hydraulic /transmission fluid to run in a yanmar 336 d tractor . I have travellers in it now and about 2 years old . going to replace . with new filter and fluid . I have a new 5 gallon bucket of travellers fluid .and it is on sale at tractor supply right now $35.00 per 5 gallon bucket .

Personally, I don't think you could do much better, I have used it in a geared Yanmar and in a hydrostatic tractor and very pleased.

I have used it as well. Perfectly fine.

Lubriguard for me. I think it came from TSC. May have been Walmart even. No comparison to the 1970-80's standards IMHO...
