Don't get me wrong, as a dealer, I would love to be able to hand a customer the other end of that plug!! We all know that somewhere out there is a match for that thing but I also bet I don't have 2% of my customers using those wires and those that do, can make them match their needs if it be four pin flat or any of the 5 or 7 pins out there. Even if there was the other half available, it would only serve to make an adapter out of and end up with one more connection to fail!

I saw the other end on a brand new Farmtrac the other day but it was a 7 pole semi style plug with the round pins so Farmtrac has a source for them but it who would use a 7 pole semi?

I've gotten over the hesitation to cut wires and splice in what i need. It just seemed to me that if they go to the trouble to put a plug there, the other end should be available......pretty minor issue..

on the other hand...I can now build a "power center" to my liking with 12v plugs for spot lights, trailer wiring, or whatever. (future project w/ pics to come).

at least the wires are accesible at the back of the tractor.
