Trailer tongue change??

I just purchased a 7K lb. trailer and it has a pintle tongue on it. (sort of like a Butler tilt skid steer trailer) It has a pintle hitch on it. I hate the rattling and banging. It has a plate with pintle welded on it. Plate is about 8" x 10" held on by 4 bolts and about 8 bolt holes so it can be moved up and down. I want to mount a 2 5\16" hitch. Where can I find a plate with hitch on it? I went to TSC and Rural King. Nothing. It would probably be pretty expensive to have a fab shop make one. I am sure some one has done this before. How did you do it?
