that must be a 'stupidfornia' thing. 99% of the elements found on/in the earth are illegal or cause cancer there.


around here, asphalt millings and crushed concrete are considered 'clean fill' for putting in subgrade for stabilization..e tc... and they can go into an unlined C&D landfill. ( construction debris )




the bituminous mix is virtually inert once cured anyway.. and heck.. I guess CA forgets the precursor of this is pumpe dout of the ground anyway..

A friend of mine re-decked his 16' trailer with C purlins which is a light gauge steel (C shaped). It is much lighter and also stronger than the wood. He also was able to install D rings in it where ever he wanted. He then sprayed bed liner on it. I borrowed it a few times. It was awesome.

...If you lived around me .. Middle of Texas . We have 2 places for flooring. One is a saw mill that saws up HiLine poles & telephone poles. Makes a good floor.
... & 2ND MY Running Buddy makes water well sucker rods. They use Ash lumber and it starts out as about 22 ft . Most of it is 5Qt's ..The scrap that he generates is sold as flooring material ...

I didn't say eat it. I merely said that it's still fairly safe. VOC's leach of paint on houses.

leaky cars depost used oil ( hazardous waste) on roads.. and that leaches.

till we find a better pavement.. that's what we have.
