I traded my RX7320 for an NX6010. For my uses, the Hydro is much easier. Hopefully it's as good of tractor as the RX was. Pics attached.

A couple of differences I've noticed so far

The NX has much better visibility using the loader and I can see the pallet fork tips.
The NX appears to use more fuel ??? but maybe it just seems that way because of the smaller fuel tank

Do all dealers train the mechanic with the dirtiest hands to work on your headliner?

Congrats on the new tractor!

I'd be interested to here more about the reasons you decided that an HST tractor would fit the type of work you do better? Could you expand on that?

The one reason I've always put off getting into something larger was because of lack of HST. I imagine I'd have similar opinions/reasoning as you did.

Nice machine.

Thanks Piston

I have 42 acres with 26 acres of tillable ground that's in hay right now. I have two neighbors that do the farming for me & I'd planned to take it over as I get closer to retirement. However there's no way I can justify the cost of the rest of the equipment. I'd have to purchase well used equipment that often isn't worth rebuilding headaches or for the cost savings. I watched my dad do that for years. No thanks!!

My borders and field edges are surrounded by timber. Several acres used to be pasture 25 years ago and the previous owner let grow up in brush - mostly bush honey suckle and Russian olive.
Most of my use is cleaning up and maintaining the edges. The RX worked great but I find the hydro much easier for all the back and forth work ex- Pushing brush piles, backing under trees mowing, mowing along old fences.

I've been really happy about the maneuverability of my NX5510CH. Though the drive-by-wire isn't as quick in changing forward-to-reverse as my B7800, it's still pretty quick: besides, with a bigger tractor it's better to be a little slower when it comes to changing directions- with the side-by-side pedals it's happened more than once that I hit the wrong one (if it was quicker in responding I'd likely have damaged things by now)! And recently, out of the blue, I came up with sciatic nerve issues affecting my left side. On the tractor I don't seem to be bothered that much, but not having to hit a clutch all the time probably helps.

I operate around a lot of trees and in some tight quarters. Other than running a box blade I don't do much ground-engaging work (which is where a clutched transmission excels).

You CAN make used stuff reliable, it just takes a commitment up-front. You have to go through everything right away. Trick, however, is to have a decent understanding of how much it's going to cost.
