Working on the 3rd load of pine logs and second load of pulp
That’s a pile to envy. All nice diameters that can be processed quickly and efficiently. My piles are all nice straight stuff, but a much wider range of sizes, and usually including a few monsters that you just know are going to be a PITA.Working on the 3rd load of pine logs and second load of pulp
These logs are the result of us girdling and limb trimming young stems about 60 years ago. This allowed the residual saplings to have the room to grow straight and clear.

One of my neighbors came by. He told me that a tree fell into his pond a couple years ago and he wanted to hire me to pull it out with my tractor. He said it would be a good time because his pond is down 27" because of the sever drought we are in. I told him that I wasn't for hire but I would be glad to do it - That's how I have fun.
It turned out to be super easy. He took a couple pictures.
