It's always nice to have a concrete floor to work on, as well as a roof over your head as you took advantage of an otherwise crappy day to do maintenance.Not exactly about "Tractors and Wood", but it is about my woods tractor!
MX6000 is a bit over 4 years old and I hit the lottery - the dreaded 1200 hour "everything maintenance"!
About 1.5 of those years was heads down building my house, so most of the hours were added in 3 years. The majority of the total hours have been taking down trees and reclaiming pasture.
This was the 1st time I've taken off the FEL since buying it new. Figured I might as well sponge wash it while I was doing it...1st time for that too (he says embarrassed).
Spent a rainy Sunday afternoon and 500 bucks in Kubota oil and filters, but we are good to go hit it some more!
My wife is away, so I sent the picture of the tractor in her normal parking spot while I did the maintenance. I think it fits in good!She hinted to not get too comfortable parking the MX there!

The lift capacity for my gc2400 is just under 1200# at the hitch point. A wet 1/3 cord is probably to much for my tractor. Even if it could lift it, its probably not a very smart idea to move one around.

You just reminded me of an elderly friend who used to have his rather rotund wife routinely stand on the front bumper of his Deere 855 when moving firewood with his 3-point carry-all. It was quite the depiction of flannel and denim red-neckery, no outsider would've guessed that he was the retired Director of Design at a tech company.
That little tractor spent too much of its life with the front tires in the air, given how he was using it.

The wood would likely weigh as much as the tractor so that could get interesting in a hurry for sure.
