The woods are part of me such that I think I was born at the wrong time. I should have been born around Davey Crockette's time I think.

I used to feel the same way, then I got to thinking, my GO TO gun was proofed in Oct. of 1935, and I don't want to go back without it, so 1935 is as far back as I can go!

Yeaaa, my Krieghoff Semper... I've drug it all over since it came to live with me in 1983.

It's been my hunting companion since then, and it's just plain kept me fed, especially out in the Alaskan bush.
