Thanks HEC! I've found one so far 'Farmall H' '48 I think. Though I rather have something a little newer than that for the features.

I will add 4WD to my requirements!

Welcome to TBN. Join the fun.
That Farmall H is a nice tractor for guys like me that like to restore old iron. There are several nice ones in my tractor club.

But for a newby like you, it might not be what you want. For example, Farmall tractors of that vintage generally have a 2-point hitch, not a 3-point. So you have a problem since nobody makes 2-point implements these days. You can retrofit a 3-point hitch onto a Farmall. For example, my 1951 Farmall Super A has that type of 3-point hitch.

Also you have to be handy with a wrench to get these old tractors running and keeping them running.

I'd keep looking. Something like my 1964 Massey Ferguson 135 diesel would work for you. It's a modern tractor, just on the verge of becoming vintage age-wise, with most of the features you need (3-point hitch, two-stage clutch, 540 rpm pto, etc). I paid $3600 for it in 2006.

Good luck.
