Tractor wont start wiring a mess

I cannot get my tractor to start. It has worked fine for 4 years. This spring I started it, ran for about 5 minutes then died.

Gas or diesel?
what happen when you try and crank the engine?

Sounds like no fuel...either a blockage or air bound...change your fuel filter...and, if a diesel, drain your water separator (if you have one in the system).
After it ran, then stopped...what happens when you try to start it now...just cranking? Any smoke?

We're going to need a far longer description of the symptoms...does it crank...and what you have tried...too many things it could be.

did you cut off the fuel last fall and forget to open the fuel this spring.

on the MF165 I used to own, there was a single electrical safety interlock and the wire kept slipping off killing the engine

why do you think "wiring a mess"
