Good set of chains.

I still think it is a lot of work and you have to buy tools to make the product work. Too bad we can't just buy chains that fit, instead of buying a "project".

For me projects are fun and there is the satisfaction of making things fit. So folks know, all tires of the same size are not equal. Depending on the brand the dimensions of my front tire varied up to 3 inches in width and 2 inches in diameter and running circumference., depending on tread pattern and construction, so it would be very difficult for someone to make an exact fit for everyone. Also from all the pictures I saw, folks also like to run them different on their tires, both low and high on the sidewall and tight or loose on the tread...this all ads up to different sizes needed for the chain.

You can probably get a very close fit by measuring your tires and calling the various brands and getting their chain dimensions. Most were helpful when I called and some have charts on their web pages with width and length. Quality Chain has a catalog with everything there, so does the Labrange (SP) That way you're ordering by chain size, not tire size. You will probably need to adjust the length no matter what, but a good bolt cutter solves that problem. Last - several of the places will build you custom chains and then you do get your exact fit.

Rear chains are now ordered as a kit....I'm getting excited about parts is parts and turning my Bobcat into a tank for pushing snow around. More later
