Pretty typical of TSC. Like I said, you don't pay a fair wage what you get.
Same could be said for HF....and they only post the 'rave reviews' with anything. Stuff with no reviews mean the reviews were all bad.
Define "fair", it's not like it's a job that requires a lot of skill. You want a job that pays well, have something to offer an employer.Pretty typical of TSC. Like I said, you don't pay a fair wage what you get.
I don't get it. If I wanted 4 50 lb bags of grass seed I would walk into Tractor Supply or Rural King or Lowes and buy them. I did buy 2 recently (they're insanely expensive this year). Are you buying grass that's uncommon for your area?Over two weeks ago I ordered (4) 50 pound bags grass seed, hoping to get it in a few days. It's been above freezing lowest at night, and we've had amazing amounts of rain. It's raining now. No such luck.
After a week I called main customer service number..."You'll have it tomorrow". I wait a few days & call store..."it shows it was mistakenly sent to Phoenix, AZ. (I'm in Virginia)...we should have it in a few days".
I called corporate 2 days ago..."You'll have it tomorrow". Finally I get a message store got it today. I go to pick it up, guy brings it out on cart leaving a trail of seed! Bags are messed up, holes, one almost empty. "The delivery guy dragged them across parking lot this morning...we'll just charge you for 3 bags".
Talk about a comedy of errors. I did weigh them at home and 4 bags are about 150 pounds...so they sort of made it right.
Also don't see it as rant.I find those and tree stands to be annoying as heck. It would be one thing if they had names on them, and were taken down after hunting season; then I could contact the owner if it's in the way. I have a game camera in my truck right now which I pulled out of a harvest block I laying out to cut earlier this year; I left a note as well as word with a couple of the neighbors but it looks like it's mine.
Then I came across a 20' tree stand while laying out another block; it was in a nice spruce and I told the harvester operator that I wanted it; preferably W/O destroying the stand but if it happened, it happened. The foreman got it down and dragged it out to the road, so I told him he may as well take it home. I've given away several which I've dragged out of areas we are going to be harvesting, and given them away. I can't sit still long enough to justify putting one out.
Two years ago there was a tree stand on a nice hardwood which was locked with a 3/8 inch chain; I should have dragged my saw in and cut the tree down so that we could have the log but didn't.
Last fall I was out walking my mother's property and stopped to get rid of a cup of coffee; I was half done when I realized I was pointing it directly at a camera. I would have pulled the card, but it was the type which sends to your cell phone. There's also a climbing stand somebody left on our side of the line in an oak tree; it had a nice veneer log in it until they drove spikes into it every 12 inches for steps.
Sorry, end of rant.
State minimum shown but local ordinance can be much higher and include benefits... domestic partner, sick leave, vacation... etc.
Yes, only available on line and at a good price. Some places in pastures horses made a mud pie, those I can temporarily fence off until grass well established.I don't get it. I would agree for the basics. We spend a lot of $ on horse feed and basics there on a yearly basis. We have a Rural King as well, but it is a 25 min drive compared to 10 min for TSC. TSC will match Rural King prices so I always price check RK before I go and get the matching price.I didn't mean to start a TSC persecution. A new one opened less than 10 minutes away.
Very convenient for hardware sold by the pound, red top woven wire fence, cat litter & supplies, bird seed, horse supplies (medications, Weaver tack is ok). Overall our experience has been pretty good.
