Wanted to know if anybody was interested in seeing a Yanmar split in half from beginning to end (clutch job). I know most of the salty dogs wont care but for the average garage guy it might be interesting. To be fair we will split a Suzue in half also. If I get enough feedback I will make a page for it on my web site. Also for all the guys stuck in an office we have thought about a web cam in our service bay. So that everyone can see the glamour that is being a tractor dealer. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif If there is interest let me know either way.

I think it would be quite interesting to see your project.

That would be a good idea Buck. Like I tell most people that ask about, it is not a hard job, but a time consuming job with a lot of little things to think about. It always helps to have a partner to help out. They never go back together as easily as they come apart.

I agree-if you post it up on the web, there are a lot of us who will be sure to look at it out of 1) curiousity 2) office boredom (for some) and 3) necessity!

I would love to see that, I have one of your loaders and it work's well... I was wondering about adding grease fittings in some places around the cyclinders?? I have been spraying wd-40 on it so far... Bought my tractor from Ray out by the ocean.... Having great fun with it!

I would love to see it-- hopefully I won't be seeing it in real life anytime soon.

Isn't a Suzue a Mitsubishi ? I'm sure the guys at the Mits Club would be interested also !! I know I would be .

Would definitely like to see a tractor split. Considering that most of our tractors are around 20 years old, it is something we are likely to be doing at some time or other.

I think that both the web cam and clutch web page would be a great idea. It would be interesting to see how surgery on these machines are preformed, as well as see many more machines.

Bring it on Buck, it sounds very interesting. I hope to never split my tractor buy my in-laws Ford NAA might be a candidate /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I think it would be very interesting, I would also check the web cam for all the reasons mentioned above!!!

I have one with a throw out bearing just starting to sing. A look at the job ahead of time would be great.

Well, I don't have it well documented, but here is a shot of my YM1110D split in the garage. Enjoy...
