Tractor radio installation

I have been trying to get a radio installed in my tractor, Due to space restrictions I have bought new gauge hole style radios with AM/FM bands (commonly installed on UTV and boats) all tested good on the FM band but none of them has a working AM radio. So far I have tried 4 different radio models none of them will work on the AM band. Have tried different antenna setups, my other radios on my property all work on AM just fine. Contacted customer service and no one has any answers as to why new radios will not work on AM band Does anyone know of a gauge hole radio model that has a functioning AM radio band? I suspect the makers of these radios are unknowingly using faulty components (due to supply chain issues? ) in the AM portion of these radios or they are do not want to make AM radios that work because there seems to be an effort to get rid of the AM broadcast band?. Does anyone have direct experience with a new radio that has a functioning AM band? If so please direct me to it. Thanks

My kioti came with a stereo, and the AM band picks up nothing. Never has. I broke the antenna off several years ago, and the FM still works great. But, i never listen to AM much.

I have a TYM T574 with a cab. The radio is completely drown out by the engine at operating RPM. I think it's the most useless accessory ever. I use a set of ear protectors with Bluetooth built in. The nice thing about this setup is hearing protection + comfortable podcasts and music when I am operating any equipment. Tractor, chainsaw, jackhammer, grinder, lawn mower, ect. TYM should scrap the radio and include a monitor with front and rear cameras instead.

I dont know, ive been listening to my cab tractor for 14 years while operating. I even wear standard over head hearing protector. I can hear it just fine.
